Well some welcome rain at last. You can hear the plants saying thank-you!
Another quick harvest in the garden:
Bowl of salad – cos lettuce and the first of the rainbow chard with beetroot leaves
Some baby beetroot (thinnings of main crop)
A fine bunch of giant Sicilian radishes
Mange Tout & Peas
Couple of Kilos of broad beans
Garlic ready for processing
White currants
Mixed red berries (Strawberries, Loganberries, Raspberries, Alpine Strawberries)
Three globe artichokes
Four kilos of gooseberries
And it wouldn’t be life without … a bowl of cherries (Morello)
Time for tea!
