Terrific Day for peak soft fruit season. Forty five folks in the garden enjoying a day of looking around explanations demonstrations and talks, great food from the garden for lunch and finally….
…picking twenty five kilos of soft fruit in ten minutes (well OK maybe fifteen). Thanks to the folks who stayed on afterwards to strig currants and top and tail gooseberries. We are now berried in food! (Forgive bad pun). Also taken our fundraising for Friends of African Nursing to £200 for this season.
