The garden is a good six weeks ahead of last year with that cold late Spring. One of the benefits is a great sequence of flowers, buzzing with bees, hoverflies, moths and a host of other invertebrates. Baby birds are flying about in small groups. Summer crops just starting. Lupins are exhuberant. Delphiniums delicious.
Elder ‘Black Lace’ is architectural & Pyrethrum is stunning.
but delphiniums are delicious only to look at and are not to be eaten!
