Sometimes in the night
I wonder
About the rights
Of those who wander
Through the green valleys of life
Touching all who live

All live in different ways
And strawberries
A cure for gout
Exemplifying value
Of a sweet way of being
Seeing
As he discovered
But never quite found out

Who meets the end
With humour
Grace
And open heart
Who could wish for more
From their last paramour
At the end of time
