Sandy and Nancy with an hour’s plunder. Rhubarb (always some of that) 5 kilos of potatoes from the first row dug, 10 kilos of broad beans, half a kilo of cape gooseberries, a kilo of cherries, another 3.5 kilos of gooseberries (good job we like them but lots given away) a cauliflower, marjoram, sage, mint and a couple of gherkins…the frond they are holding up is 330 grammes of broad beans on one stalk and the ten kilos came from 7.5 square metres. I’m worn out picking and processing.
