Each Associate has their own successful business, but we come together under the Graham Bell banner to tackle larger projects using our complementary skill sets. With well over 100 years combined experience in the field, we aim to bring you the very best in Public Policy Consultancy combined with Public Relations, for all sizes and sectors of business and representative bodies.

We have developed our own unique style of researching and communicating our client’s needs. 100% of our focus is on what your ideals are and where you want your business, and messages, to be. We are here to research and advise on economic issues as and when required. We offer a buy-as-you-need service, tailored to demand. With particular expertise in the world seen from the North; we have also covered many specific areas of policy from business rates to renewable energy, transport management to infrastructure development.
We develop coherent policy positions based on our clients’ principles and help to advocate them through a variety of media. For example we formulate position papers, speeches and media campaigns, incorporating all forms of contact with policy makers and opinion formers across the governmental and business sectors. We have a good relationship with media outlets around Scotland and the UK, and are respected as an excellent source of business comment by a number of journalists and editors.
Everyone has a story to tell; and we believe it is our mission to tell your story in ways and places that make people want to listen to it. Not everyone has the capacity in-house to maximise the impact of their story’s delivery, whether this be in terms of public relations, policy research and or presentation.
If you think we can help you to tell your story better, just use one of the contact methods top left on this page.
Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of this site, rich and brimming over with our enthusiasms for environment, Scottish and worldwide cultural exchange, and good business practices of course!
We also have a sister site dedicated to the environmental movement known as Permaculture, of which Graham Bell has been an advocate for many years. If you want to “live long and prosper” with less impact on the world around you; and without breaking your back or the bank in the process; visit grahambell.org/permaculture to learn more! This is where news of our Forest Garden Open Days, other environmental ventures, charitable work, and home life will be posted from now on.
Catch up on what’s been happening in GBA’s backyard lately:
These Chanterelle mushrooms make for a great dinner; in soup, stirfry or salad. And collecting them made for a great day out in the woods at Loch Rannoch. The next few months are prime mushroom season; and what better place to find a fungus feast than ‘damp and dreary’ Scotland? Every cloud has a silver lining, as they say!
(Our homage to the industrious fungi, the MyCelium Forums, are sadly falling into disuse. Watch this space for a revamped, 2010 version coming soon!)
