Welcome Saturday 16 August 2008

After weeks of rain the weather cleared up enough today to harvest stuff from the garden.  We have potatoes, runner and broad beans (the oldest vegetable we have, I discovered recently) loads of berries including the first blackberries, salad (including radish pods).  Yummy.

And just as we were doing all this Mr Tiggywinkle turned up.

What a handsome fellow he is too....

And then Nancy directed me to the aptly named butterfly bush...  This is a Peacock butterfly.  The wonders of digital cameras eh?

There were also red Admirals and Commas... deep joy.  So how's it with you?

And many welcomes!  This site is designed to connect you with my world of helping others develop their future.  I am passionate about enterprise - and the power of enterprise to make people's lives better.  My job is essentially to help other people get more out of their businesses.  Mostly I do that by helping my clients communicate better.  Look at
'What others have said about me' for some references.  Wander round the site and spot some of the ideas that excite me.  I believe in an informed and imaginative approach.

It is also a link into mycelium, a new network of other people who are capable in their own fields, but also committed to social and environmental justice.  We all believe that we are working to make the world a better place.  The site is centred on work, but also recognises the value of play. For a perfect example of how inspiring this can be see Chris Dixon's essay on preparing a meal grown from his own land.

Please feel free to use ideas you find here, to pass it on to others, and to contribute from your own surplus of valuable thinking and action.  Like all good sites it will continue to grow and change over time.
